Core Terms

Booking & Deposit

A minimum $100 non-refundable booking deposit is required to confirm and lock your date. Until the deposit is received, no date is held or guaranteed.

For larger projects, a deposit of up to 50% of the total may be required — this will be confirmed at booking. The deposit is non-refundable and covers the reserved date and preparation time.

All deposits are non-refundable. If you cancel, the deposit is forfeited. If you need to reschedule, reach out as early as possible and we'll work something out.

Final Payment

The remaining 50% balance is due within 7 days of final delivery. Accepted methods and details are confirmed at booking.

Late balances may delay release of final files and can incur a reasonable late fee.

Cancellation & Rescheduling

If you cancel, the refundable portion of your deposit (25% of total) is returned; the non-refundable portion is retained.

Rescheduling is welcome where the calendar allows, and the deposit carries over to the new date.

Copyright & Usage

SOLUS retains full copyright to all footage and images created. You receive a license to use the delivered work for the purpose agreed at booking.

SOLUS reserves the right to use delivered work for portfolio, social, and marketing purposes unless you request otherwise in writing.

Raw Footage & Reselling

Raw or unedited files are not included unless agreed in writing. The edited delivery is the product.

Delivered work may not be resold, sublicensed, or passed to third parties for commercial use without written agreement.

Circumstances Beyond Control

SOLUS is not liable for moments missed due to weather, lighting, venue limits, guest behavior, or other conditions outside reasonable control.

In cases of illness, emergency, or events beyond either party's control, the shoot may be rescheduled without penalty.

Social Cut

Usage: licensed for your own brand and social channels.
Revisions: one round included; further rounds quoted separately.
Turnaround: standard delivery agreed at booking; rush available as a paid add-on.
Scope: one location, one concept per cut.

/ 02

Video Shoot

Deliverables: final edit cut to the agreed platform and length.
Raw footage: available on request, quoted separately.
Scope changes: added locations, hours, or run-time may adjust the final quote.
Revisions: one round included.

Event Coverage

Sole videographer: SOLUS is the primary video service for the event; guests filming informally must not interfere with coverage.
Coverage window: billed by hours on site as agreed; overtime quoted if the event runs long.
Deliverable: a highlight film; full-length or multi-angle edits quoted separately.
Missed moments: SOLUS captures the day as it unfolds and isn't liable for unscripted moments outside its control.

Brand / Commercial

Commercial license: usage scope (platforms, duration, paid media) defined per project in writing.
Concept: creative direction developed for the project remains credited to SOLUS unless bought out.
Deliverables: multiple cuts/formats defined upfront; added deliverables quoted separately.
Production: multi-day or multi-location scope agreed before the shoot.
